29Mar13 - Salt Bath!

Today is such a fine (hot!) day so I decided to give my crystal bracelets a salt bath!

 Salt is really good for removing negative energies from most crystals. However, some crystals like Angelite and some marbles and pearls are sensitive to salt and their surfaces can be damaged very quickly in a salt bath. Other crystals or gemstones might absorb water so please make sure your crystals are safe for salt bath before trying it out!

Usually I will soak them in salt water for around 3-4 hours, preferably in the morning or early afternoon, when you can some sunlight. 

I uses the normal rock salt found in the supermarket, a few teaspoons stirred into spring/mineral water.

    See the little bubbles on the crystals surface!

Beside cleansing crystals in salt water, you can also put them under the morning to afternoon sun to recharge them. But some crystals are prone to color fade, such as
rose quartz, while others might crack when exposed to sunlight for too long, like citrine.

27Mar13 - Earth friendly packing

As crystals are natural gifts from the earth, we should try our best to reduce the damage
we bring to her. We try to keep our packing simple, with recyclable plastic foam and paper
envelope.  

The plastic sleeve that comes with the crystal is of good quality and can be kept be reused too.

    Simple packing means less wastage!

   No harmful toxics to the environment!


Do you part today so there will be more beneficial crystals for the future generations!
Some simple points:
- Classify and separate your rubbish, e.g paper, plastic and others.

- Reduce and reject usage of plastic bags, sometime you just need to tell the cashier to put all
your things into one bag instead of separating.

- Instead of throwing away used or broken crystals, bury them into the ground and let them
nurture back to mother earth.

-Spreading the message, remind someone if you see them wasting resources or harming the environment.

A little bit of changes a day will compound to a big difference in the future.

24Mar13 - Mini pots of love and wealth!

Many thanks to those who have bought the crystal chips!
Some of you asked what are the usage of the chips, so I did two
simple mini wealth pots:

Mini Wealth Magnet! 

A simple tea cup with citrine chips, trinity coin and an ammonite. 
Ammonite reflects the seven colors of rainbow, also representing the chakra.
So it produces and nurtures all good energies whether it is wealth, health, relationship or self-being.

You can also write your wishes on a small piece of paper, fold it up and
place it inside too! 

Setup your own wealth pot today and start sucking in the wealth!

A Bowlful of Love!
Here is another simple setup with heart shaped rose quartz, rose quartz chips,
trinity coin (inside) and a little pretty bowl.
The coin is placed underneath the crystal for aesthetic reasons, so it doesn't spoil the
romantic atmosphere but enhancing the overall energy.

    Add your own personal belongings like jewelleries, rings, etc   

This is a wealth pot I placed in my office,

It is just the sizeof a teacup so don't have to worry about others noticing it!
Added a conch shell picked from the beach as one of the eight auspicious symbols is
the right-turning conch shell.

20Mar13 - A little saving a day

A while ago, I placed this cute piggy bank (as mouse is my ally) at the wealth corner of my
room. Every day when I come back I will drop 50 cents into it.

Today the piggy bank is full so I have to open it up and was surprised to

find that I have save almost $30, that means I saved about 2 months.

Although it is only a small amount, it teaches us that wealth is accumulated,
and by saving a small amount a day, it adds up to a bigger amount.

Same as health and luck, doing a bit of good things and a bit of exercises help
accumulate good health and luck. 

Putting a piggy bank at the wealth corner and regularly saving money will help increase the energy flow here and keep the wealth flowing in! woo hoo!

     Make a good habit to save! 


Where is the wealth corner many ask... Generally the wealth direction is Northeast,
but a simple direction to locate your room's wealth corner would be the corner furthest
away from the door. That usually means the adjacent corner to the door.

What should we put at the wealth corner? We will touch on that again I guess ;)

Be frugal and make your every dollar worth its value!

Wu Lou (bottle gourd) originates from a fruit.
When dried, it is very durable and its shape render it useful as a receptacle for medicine.

The Wulou was often carried by aged people as a charm of longevity and a charm to dissipate or ward off pernicious influences. The Wulou, like baguas and windchimes, is one of the most significant tools to cure many bad situations and enhance our Feng Shui. It is the powerful symbol of health and longevity.

Many deities like the Sau Sing Kung (in 3 Lucky Stars Fuk Luk Sau), Li Tieh Kuai (in 8 Immortals) and Mad Monk God (Chai Kung) carry this excellent item with them to resemble their blessings to cure difficult ailment. 

Some said the shape of the wulou is also a wonderful integration of heaven, earth and mankind. Deities and taoist monks even use the Wu Lou to absorb bad evil spirits into it for imprisonment. Therefore Wu Lou has the potency to absorb bad chi and negative energy.

Wu Lou in its natural form is better than imitations from other materials. Unless it is made by potent material like metal or crystal which plays a significant role in maneuvering chi of our surrounding. To activate a wulou for feng shui purposes, it is essential to tie either a red thread or red ribbon around its "valley". Some natural wulou is even painted gold or added with special coins to absorb wealth luck. It becomes even more powerful when tied with red string and Chinese coin around it. What is more, some taoist masters write talisman and bagua onto the wulou for added protection and attracting some special luck.

    The shape of wulou also resemble the number 8.

Wu Lou has many uses as cure and enhancer: 

1. Display a wu lou in any part of your homes (as many as you can afford) to create good health and bring in good fortune and dissolving negative energy (chi). 

2. Display or hang two wu lous (either in its natural form or made from metal) on both sides of the bed to heal ailments/sickness and rejuvanate the energy of sick people to quicken recovery

. 
3. Display or hang a wu lou in the bedroom (or by the bed) to ensure any health problems is prevented. Prevention is better than cure! 

4. Display a wu lou in the kitchen to activate health luck for the family as it ensures only healthy food is produced in our kitchens which is the source of health for the family. 

5. Display the wu lou in the east sector of our living rooms, family rooms and dining for good health of the entire family. 

6. Wu Lou (crystal or brass) is an excellent gift for old people during their birthdays to wish them long life, good health and longevity.

 
7. Displaying a wu lou on the desk or at your workplace ensures bad chi which could harm you be dissolved. 

8. Hang a wu lou in your car to prevent accidents and absorb any poison and killing chi. It prevents dirty energy from sticking to your car or follow you home too. 

9. Display a wu lou at where you spend most of your time if there is a series of bad luck exerted on you. It will absorb bad energy (chi) and turn it into good fortune to you.

Five Yellow (wu huang)

The Five Yellow or Wu Wang is one of the most deadly annual afflictions especially in years when it flies into Earth and Fire element sectors which enhance its vicious Earth energy. It is actually 1 of the 9 Flying Stars, described in Feng Shui as the movement of both positive, as well as negative energies within any given space and time.

Occupying  the centre in 2013, it is not associated with any trigram (Kua), thus rendering it dangerously unstable and unpredictable.

10Mar13 - King of Ammonite

The picture kinda explains itself. hahaa

Was at the mall walking and saw this shop selling crystals and fossils.What caught my eyes was this gigantic ammonite, almost 80 cm tall! The color was brilliant and the whole shell was pretty intact. Didn't ask the price though hahaa

They sell some other cool stuffs like shark teeth and prehistoric fossils, they don't come cheap though....

For you guys and gals that like ammonites, I do have some smaller and much cheaper ones, drop me a message if you are interested!
